  • History of VDV
  • The VDV was founded in 1992. At the time when the VDV was being established, nine flight training schools banded together in an effort to jointly pursue their members' interests. Since then, the VDV affiliated flight training schools have been able to represent their collective interests towards the general public, authorities, politicans and toward those organisations and associations in charge of flight training related issues.

The implementation of the JAR-FCL requirements into the training concepts of the current 15 member schools has been considered a substantial milestone in the success story of the Association.
